Biography
Born 1971, it's as a little girl that i discovered the world of Photography, through my father's works, who was a photographer.
I loved spending time in his dark room discovering the new works he was releasing. That was lil' Twig's delight, a sense of wonder mixed with a kind of magic.
Around 10 he offered me my first camera and I could shoot like real photographers do - at last, that's what I thought!
It helped me to gain a certain experience & knowledges that i could use more & better, later after I took a long pause before I decided to go back to what I call a PASSION. Inspirations come from painting (Bosch/Bruegel/Schiele/Munsch...) and music - both guiding my wandering spirit.
100% self-taught, my photographs are reflections of my spirit, moods, emotions that I'm glad to share with you, readers, viewers, passers-by, visitors... enjoy !
I owe a lot to my photo "godfather" Alain Louise and "godmother" Catherine Durbano, may they be here thanked for their constant support. And big up to my Belgian friend and photographer Aurélie Detaille ("Intimate Glow Photography"), and street photographer and friend Fred Larricq.
What I Do
Relief, I would say. I found relief in taking pictures. Being able to bring out some beauty out of an ugly world.
I have now crossed that deep river and will probably bring out a different, more joyful perspective.
